Senior Litigation Associate – Insurance Coverage

About the Role:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Irvine, California. This position focuses on handling complex insurance coverage matters and high-stakes litigation. The role is hybrid, offering a combination of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee complex insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage provisions to assess liability and determine coverage positions.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding policy interpretation, coverage issues, and case developments.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality legal services and efficient case management.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar License.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or litigation.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
