To succeed in this position, you will need excellent organizational and communication skills and must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. The firm’s ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and practical experience in litigation.
Job Responsibilities
· Conduct legal research and analysis
· Court appearances and hearings
· Case management
· Client communication
· Discovery management
· Settlement negotiation
· Trial preparation
· Assist in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial
· Prepare and review motions, briefs, and discovery
· Report to partners and clients regarding case status
· Work delegation skills
