You shall play a key role in the Business Development Team for Alpha Plus Technologies.
- Identify new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Generate leads via cold calls, emails, and social media to build a pipeline of potential customers.
- Gain in-depth functional knowledge of assigned products.
- Present / demonstrate features and functionalities of the assigned products to potential leads
- Prepare and submit quotes to the prospective leads
- Undertake active and timely follow-up for early closing of deal
- Handle negotiations and finalize business deals
- Track market intelligence, particularly relating to new opportunities and competition, related to the company’s products
- Provide insights to the Marketing Team for greater product visibility based on field experience
- Create reports with customer, sales, and financial data to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop long-term and trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders among clients.
- Schedule regular meetings with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the product and services
- Create quarterly plans to prioritize client engagement and awareness initiatives with key accounts and other clients
- Engage in seeking client feedback to gauge the customer satisfaction levels
- Gain in-depth functional knowledge of our flagship solution to impart training and conduct awareness programs for clients
- Any other roles and responsibilities with respect to Account Management & Liaison as may be suggested by the Manager & Department Head
- Graduates / Professional Degree-holders / Post Graduates desirous of a career in Business Development & Client Engagement of IT Software Solutions / Services
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales of IT Software Solution / Services
- Pleasing personality and excellent oral and written communication skills are prerequisites
- Sound presentation creation and presentation delivery skills are expected
- Interest and enthusiasm to extensively travel across the southern part of the country (by any means) and a passion to interact with clients.
- Character traits of patience, resilience, and commitment to endure long sales cycles
- Keen desire for enhanced interaction with internal teams
- Should have the ability to relay important and relevant information to the Manager / Department Head, keeping time sensitivity in mind
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent listening and negotiation abilities
- Prior experience of at least 2 years in dealing with BFSI sector clients for IT Software Services / Solutions
- Prior experience on Client Relationship Management
- Prior experience of engaging with Mid-profile as well as High-profile clients/institutions
- Solid experience with CRM Software
