Senior Associate - Data Governance

India

In this role, you will bring data under governance and understand the data lineage. You will also coordinate with various stakeholders, build functional expertise and document observations.

What role will you play?

The RMG Change and Data team is focused on serving divisions across Risk Management Group to work with other various groups in bringing data under governance, deliver data priorities, build new data products and manage overall data quality. Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks.

What you offer

Demonstrated 3-5years of experience in data management and quality assurance, supporting enterprise data needs and monitoring data across divisions
Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices to ensure data integrity and compliance
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills to identify, analyse, and resolve production issues related to data applications
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting data analysis to validate and investigate discrepancies between source and target systems
Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with technology counterparts and stakeholders to remediate data issues and improve data quality

About the Risk Management Group

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
