Senior Associate Doctor

Role Purpose:

We are looking to engage a qualified medical doctor who can partner with eClerx to validate employee sick leave certificates and provide basic medical support to employees. This role will ensure authenticity of medical documentation and offer first-line medical assistance within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate medical certificates submitted by employees for sick leave, including one-day sick leaves.
• Verify that certificates are issued by government-authorized medical practitioners with supporting reports where required.
• Provide validation reports to HR for leave approval processing.
• Offer basic medical consultation to employees on workplace health issues.
• Recommend quick medication or first-aid solutions until an employee can reach a specialist.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of all employee medical information.
• Advise HR on workplace health practices or recurring health concerns, if observed.

Education and Experience:

• Licensed medical doctor (MBBS or equivalent), registered with the Egypt’s medical license body.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporates.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian healthcare regulations and medical certification requirements.
• Ability to provide first-line medical consultation in a corporate setting.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in managing sensitive employee health data.
