As a Senior Associate, GM&I, you will collaborate with vendors, leaders, talent, and your team to ensure both our employees' and business needs are met. Additionally, you will work closely with our immigration and and relocation vendors to stay up-to-date on your caseload and provide relevant updates as needed. To guarantee our GM&I processes are integrated and supported in the Wayfair service environment, you will also partner closely with numerous Talent teams.

This position requires you to be highly collaborative, working closely with senior partners within several teams, including Talent, Finance, and Legal across Wayfair.

What You’ll Do:
  • Facilitate daily operations of the GM&I programs, including US Global visa matters, assignments (domestic and international), and relocation (domestic & international). This entails responding to inquiries, maintaining compliance, and coordinating efforts for pertinent stakeholders.
  • Support employees globally with immigration extensions and amendments by providing advice, creating monthly reports, and reviewing petitions.
  • Coordinate efforts related to the US Green Card program.
  • Partner with our external law firm to ensure timely immigration filings.
  • Attend weekly operating calls with our immigration and relocation vendors to partner on cases.
  • Continually assess programs against business needs, stakeholder feedback, and market trends; partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Develop solutions to address business needs; provide timely, cost-effective solutions while maintaining consistency, adhering to policy guidelines, and striking the right balance between business and employee needs.
  • Update internal intranet sites to ensure guidelines and information are relevant.
  • Work closely with vendors and other suppliers to ensure appropriate service levels are met.
  • Proactively manage vendor performance to support employee experience.
  • Support new and existing technology platforms for the execution of GM&I packages.
What You’ll Need:
  • 5+ years of experience processing and supporting mobility and/or immigration programs.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A customer service mentality to support a diverse population across multiple communication channels.
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative, and committed to results.
  • Able to maximize time in order to effectively manage a heavy caseload.
