Senior Associate – Family & Juvenile Law

Position Summary

The Senior Associate in Family & Juvenile Law provides compassionate and strategic representation in custody, adoption, guardianship, and child welfare cases. This role balances courtroom advocacy with client counseling to protect families and children.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including custody, divorce, and guardianship.

• Handle juvenile law cases, including child protective services and foster care matters.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and family court filings.

• Advocate for clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.

• Mentor junior associates and paralegals on family law practices.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; active bar license.

• 6+ years of experience in family or juvenile law.

• Strong advocacy and counseling skills.

• Experience with guardianships, adoptions, or CPS matters preferred.

• Commitment to client-centered representation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 - $300.00 per hour
