Our client is a dynamic international firm with a strong presence in the energy sector. They are seeking a Senior Associate to join their expanding finance team. The role is based full time in their Dubai office with a competitive package. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects in the oil and gas sector while contributing to the firm's strategic initiatives. What the job involves

• Provide research and execution support to the finance team, contributing to the development and implementation of the company's financial and investment strategy
• Build and maintain advanced financial models to support ongoing projects and provide strategic recommendations
• Conduct detailed research into energy markets, oil and gas companies, and financing opportunities for the firm's projects
• Assist with raising debt, equity, and financing for energy projects, with a focus on upstream oil and gas operations in Iraq and other regions
• Collaborate with senior management to prepare high-quality presentations, strategic analysis, and reports
• Support business development efforts by identifying and evaluating new opportunities aligned with the company's growth plans
• Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and strategic goals
  
  
  

Who we are looking for

• A professional from investment banking with expertise in project finance and the energy sector, particularly oil and gas
• Strong academic background with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or Physics most preferred. A CFA or MBA is a plus
• Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis, with a keen ability to develop actionable insights and solutions
• Familiarity with project finance in investment banking, including the unique challenges faced by companies raising funds for oil and gas projects
• A data-driven problem-solver who can adapt to complex, fast-paced environments and deliver high-quality results
