The purpose of this position is to help ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. Under direct supervision of the Hospitality Services Manager, in addition bartender responsibilities: this person will help lead a team of runners and bartenders for Committee Meetings and other Non-Showtime events and activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited the following:

Assist management in maintaining inventory sheets, equipment, and product.

Support operational reporting and documentation through assigned software systems.

Utilize NetSuite for inventory tracking, product movement, and reconciliation, and bill paying.

Use ABI Scheduling, Ping, and Yellowdog systems to support staff scheduling, communication, timekeeping, inventory control, and operational workflow.

Assist management with employee scheduling, shift assignments, and responsibilities using approved scheduling platforms.

Assist bartenders and runners with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of product, bars, and equipment.

Order, purchase, and receive product, ensuring accuracy in counts, documentation, and system entry.

Train and develop new employees.

Help ensure seasonal and part‑time employees follow HLSR company and department guidelines, standards, and uniform requirements at all times.

Ensure that storage areas, pantries, workspaces, and equipment are kept clean pre‑event, during events, and post‑event.

Communicate information from management to employees and vice versa.

Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities assigned by the department manager.

Must be ok working event-based schedule – nights/weekends/consecutive weeks at a time
This job has supervisory responsibilities over part-time and seasonal employees.

Prior experience in a lead, supervisory, or trainer role overseeing part-time and/or seasonal staff

Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to relay information effectively between management and employee

Working knowledge of event-based operations, including pre-event setup, live event execution, and post-event breakdown in fast-paced environments

Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records, assist with reconciliation, and follow purchasing and documentation controls

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting

Experience using ABI Scheduling, Ping, Yellowdog, and NetSuite (or similar scheduling, communication, and inventory systems) preferred

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting schedules during peak event periods

Ability to lead by example in a hands-on role, providing on-the-floor support to bartenders and runners as needed

Dependable attendance and flexibility to work an event-driven schedule, including nights, weekends, extended hours, and consecutive workdays

Ability to understand, follow, and help enforce department policies, safety standards, and uniform requirements at all times
Current, valid TABC Certification & food handlers license.
Associate or bachelor’s degree OR minimum 3–5 years of combined hospitality, restaurant, bar, and/or event venue experience, with increasing levels of responsibility preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required. At least five years combined hospitality, restaurant and/or bar experience required.
