About The Role
ACS SYNERGY is strengthening its Public and Development Sector Advisory practice to support a growing pipeline of government, donor-funded, and development-sector mandates. We are seeking a Senior Associate – Public & Development Sector Advisory to support the delivery of advisory engagements involving financial analysis, project evaluation, reform programmes, and decision-support assignments.
This role is well-suited for an ACCA-qualified professional with 2–3 years of experience in consulting, audit, or industry, who is interested in working on public finance, development projects, and institutional reform initiatives. The role involves close engagement with senior advisors and exposure to complex, high-impact assignments.
The Role
The Senior Associate will support the delivery of public and development sector mandates, including analytical work, financial modelling, documentation, and client deliverables. The role involves working on assignments funded by governments, multilateral agencies, and development partners, and requires strong analytical capability, structured thinking, and high-quality written output.
Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of public and development sector advisory assignments, including financial analysis and decision-support work.

Assist in preparation of financial models, projections, and scenario analysis for projects, programmes, and policy initiatives.

Contribute to feasibility studies, project appraisals, reform programmes, and investment cases.

Support development of budgets, cost models, funding frameworks, and financial sustainability assessments.

Assist in preparation of technical proposals, reports, presentations, and RFP responses. Conduct desk research, data analysis, and benchmarking to support advisory outputs.

Prepare working papers, calculations, and documentation to support senior team members.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on assignment deliverables.

Support quality control and review of analytical and narrative outputs prior to submission.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

ACCA/ACMA/CIMA qualified (mandatory).

Approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience in consulting, audit (preferably Big4), advisory, or industry.

Strong grounding in financial accounting, financial analysis, and applied finance.

Financial modelling skills (Excel-based) strongly preferred.

Exposure to the public sector, development sector, infrastructure, or donor-funded projects is an advantage.

Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
