Senior Audit Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate with strong exposure to statutory and internal audits, finalization of accounts, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working under a practicing Chartered Accountant and possess sound knowledge of IFRS and UAE compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Audit

• Plan and execute statutory audit engagements
• Prepare and review audit working papers
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards
• Finalize financial statements and audit reports

Internal Audit

• Conduct internal audit assignments
• Evaluate internal control systems and risk management processes
• Identify control weaknesses and provide recommendations
• Prepare internal audit reports

Finalization of Accounts

• Finalization of books of accounts
• Preparation and review of financial statements
• Ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and balance confirmation
• Ensure accuracy and completeness before reporting

VAT & Compliance

• VAT reconciliation and review
• Support VAT audits and FTA compliance requirements
• Ensure adherence to UAE tax regulations

Coordination & Reporting

• Supervise junior audit staff
• Communicate with clients for audit requirements
• Report directly to Audit Manager/Partner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
