Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Audit Manager to lead and manage multiple audit engagements across diverse industries in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality audit services while ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to manage key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of external audit engagements in accordance with IFRS, ISA, and UAE regulations.
  • Supervise audit teams, review working papers, and ensure high-quality audit deliverables.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for audit and advisory matters.
  • Develop audit strategies and assess audit risks, ensuring effective risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and performance of audit teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues and regulatory changes (e.g., VAT, ESR, UBO, AML compliance).
  • Review and finalize audit reports and management letters.
  • Contribute to business development through client proposals, presentations, and networking.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, conducting performance evaluations and promoting professional development.
  • Stay updated on UAE-specific regulatory changes, including requirements from the Ministry of Economy, SCA, and other governing bodies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional certification: CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of audit experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UAE-specific regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ACL, or similar tools).
  • Proven track record in managing audit engagements in sectors such as real estate, construction, financial services, manufacturing, and retail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of UAE commercial laws and regulations.
  • Exposure to internal audit, risk advisory, and forensic audits is a plus.
