Main Objectives
Responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System (QMS) programs that are established as per ISAGO/ISO9001 requirements, are continuously implemented, monitored and improved. Monitors the established measurable objectives such as KPIs, their progress, achievements and improvements. This includes preparation for external audits such as customer airlines audits, notification and communication with the concerned departments, reviewing of external audit checklists, and follow-up of any pending items from previous audits/assessments and issues.
Main Duties

Ensures that the established Internal Audit program is reviewed and approved by the QMS post holder and Accountable Executive and has been communicated to the concerned departments. Also reviews relevant internal audit checklists for currency to ensure compliance with ISAGO standards.

Oversees and supervises the activities of operational auditors in accordance with the quality assurance/control program, ensuring they are adequately trained and qualified to perform audits and inspections and that their training is up to date.

Coordinates external audits to ensure the audit scope aligns with the company’s services and operations and ensures that concerned departments are notified in preparation for the audits.

Conducts scheduled audits and unscheduled assessments (inspections) as part of the Quality Management System programs. Ensures that audit findings (both internal and external) are properly addressed, root causes are identified, and corrective/preventive actions are implemented and closed within the agreed timeframe. Also follows up on pending items and improvement plans to ensure conformity with established standards and programs.

Conducts periodic reviews of policies, manuals, and forms to ensure compliance with ISAGO, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA), and customer airline requirements. Also, ensures that compliance is maintained, monitored, and assessed.

Performs gap analyses against ISAGO and other standards to ensure continued compliance with requirements and applicable regulations.

Disseminates customer airline manual updates, notices, safety flashes, and bulletins in a timely manner to keep concerned departments informed of changes and updates, ensuring implementation and compliance. Also follows up on any additional requirements, such as read-and-sign records and other evidence of information dissemination.

Conducts statistical data analysis as part of continual improvement efforts, using insights from internal and external audits and inspections for performance monitoring and management review.

Comply with Company's and airport authorities’ health, safety & security requirements.

Carries out other similar or related duties as directed by the management.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in ISAGO/ISO principles and working environment covering organizational management system and operational standards.
Other Essential Requirements:

Excellent in English verbal and written communication including writing reports, manuals and presentations.

Must have a Lead Auditor training qualification (certificate) from ISO QMS 9001 /IATA Internal Audit certification and/or equivalent standards.

Excellent in analytical (statistical analysis) using available programs and quality tools.

Highly skilled in using Microsoft office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
