Senior Automation Engineer (AGV-Based Storage Cabinet System)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to design and implement an automated system for preparing, transporting, and organizing storage cabinets mounted on pallets using a commercially available AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). The project involves the full engineering scope—from concept and vendor selection to system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, select, and program a suitable AGV solution available on the market.
• Design and define the pallet solution required for safe and reliable cabinet transport.
• Develop a system that allows end users to select and retrieve the required storage cabinet efficiently.
• Plan and implement the floor infrastructure, including:
• Electrical power supply to cabinets
• Data and communication interfaces
• Floor layout and routing for AGV operation
• Ensure system safety, reliability, and scalability

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering.
• Proven experience in industrial automation and material handling systems.
• Hands-on experience with AGVs/AMRs, including programming and integration.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with palletized systems and warehouse automation is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation.
• Candidates must be currently residing in Dubai and available to join immediately
