Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD processes for diverse applications and implement automation wherever suitable
• Migrate workloads into the Azure Cloud
• Build and maintain client environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Develop automation scripts in Python to enhance Azure DevOps functionalities
• Propose improvements for infrastructure as code (IaC), build processes, and release cycles for multiple development teams
• Contribute to technical guidance related to CI/CD and IaC for support units
• Set up monitoring solutions and improve cost efficiency and performance
• Manage the complete release life cycle

Requirements

• Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting production systems based on Microsoft Azure, with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Skills in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Databases, and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Knowledge of Azure Networking Services such as VNet, VWan, ExpressRoute, Gateways, DNS, Peering, Load Balancer, Firewall, NSG, WAF, Traffic Manager, App Gateway, and CDN
• Background in monitoring systems, particularly performance tracking, alerting, and "golden signals" monitoring
• Practical experience working with Kubernetes
• Understanding of Azure Active Directory, including Azure AD authentication, user and group management, roles, and permissions
• Competency in managing CI/CD projects
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• English proficiency at a B2 level to ensure effective communication and documentation
