Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with extensive expertise in Python and Django to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our backend systems and APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Optimise application performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software remains cutting-edge.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with Python and Django.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
