Senior Backend Engineer – Platform (Healthcare SaaS)

As a Senior Backend Engineer, Platform, you will be a key contributor to the design,

development, and evolution of our core platform. You will have a significant impact on the

scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems, enabling us to deliver innovative solutions

to the healthcare industry. Your responsibilities will include:

● Platform Architecture and Development: Design, develop, and maintain the core

platform components that power our SaaS products, focusing on scalability,

performance, and security. This includes working with distributed systems, message

queues, caching mechanisms, and databases.

● API-First Development: Architect and implement robust and well-documented APIs to

facilitate seamless integration with internal and external systems, including third-party

platforms and APIs. Champion API design best practices.

● Infrastructure as Code: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our

infrastructure-as-code using modern tools and practices.

● Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks,

ensuring our platform can handle increasing data volumes and user traffic.

● Data Modeling and Management: Design and implement efficient and scalable data

models to support our business needs, considering data integrity, security, and

performance.

● Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of our development

processes, tools, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

● 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with a focus on platform

engineering.

● Proven ability to design, build, and deploy scalable and reliable production systems.

● Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native

technologies.

● Strong experience with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).

● Proficiency in Python, FASTApi is a requirement

● Proficiency in at least one other backend language (e.g. Golang, Java) is a plus.

● Experience with Infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Pulumi

● Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

● Experience with the healthcare domain is a strong plus.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
