Senior Barista

We are launching a new, takeout-focused specialty café and are looking for an experienced Senior Barista to join us at the ground level and help bring our vision to life.

This is more than a barista role, we are looking for someone who can help us set up operations, build a strong coffee menu, and establish quality standards from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coffee program development and menu creation
• Train junior staff on coffee preparation and service standards
• Maintain high-quality espresso extraction and consistency
• Assist with supplier selection and inventory setup
• Contribute to branding and signature drink ideas
• Ensure smooth daily operations during launch phase

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years specialty coffee experience
• Experience in café setup or opening is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of espresso calibration, milk texturing, and brew methods
• Ability to design efficient workflow for small spaces
• Leadership skills and team training experience
• Passion for coffee quality and customer experience
• Knowledge of cost control and menu pricing is a plus
