A Brief Overview
The Senior Benefits Analyst facilitates initiatives undertaken by the Benefits Carrier Management team and extensively engages, interacts and partners with internal colleagues and external vendor contacts. This position supports Insurance Services leaders in collaborating to achieve specific segments of the overall benefits renewal process. This includes implementing new benefits strategies and managing escalated vendor relations issues.

What you will do

  • Assist with the implementation of medical, dental, vision and other supplemental carrier benefit plans, programs, and procedures at an enterprise level with minimal supervision.
  • Provide project support for benefits initiatives and open enrollment, including employee and client communications, timeline coordination and portal preparation.
  • Contribute to and influence product‑related meetings, including development, design, and implementation, leveraging knowledge of carrier practices and customer experience insights.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve tasks regarding insurance claims, benefit inquiries and enrollment issues experienced by employees, clients, providers, and carriers.
  • Deliver effective technical training on insurance benefit programs and details to large internal audiences using various tools and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of systems and tools such as Salesforce (SFDC), PeopleSoft and other company‑provided platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, reporting and regulatory requirements related to benefits administration.
  • Analyze enrollment, claims, and operational data to identify trends, assess program performance, and recommend data‑driven improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or other business-related area, or equivalent education and experience required

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5+ years in healthcare analytics and/or insurance with Open Enrollment experience required

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal direction while effectively prioritizing and driving tasks to completion.
  • Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage time
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and resolve critical client/carrier issues and trends.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and deliver technical training
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and laws pertaining to benefits administration
  • Attention to detail in documents, correspondence, and process adherence
  • PeopleSoft, MS Office Suite: Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Management, Teams, SharePoint (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $70,800.00 to $141,600.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
