Job Specifications

• Time: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Location: Plaza 145, Civic Center, Phase IV, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
• Experience: 2 – 5 Years in Business Intelligence / Data Engineering
• Skill Set: PostgreSQL, Power BI, Python, dbt, Grafana, SQL, Linux Administration

Job Description

• Design and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of a Medallion Architecture using PostgreSQL.
• Build and manage dbt Core transformation models with proper testing, documentation, and incremental strategies.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and materialized views for analytical workloads.
• Develop automated Python pipelines to ingest data from databases, APIs, Excel/CSV files, and email sources.
• Use Python libraries such as pandas, SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, watchdog, and imaplib for ingestion and processing.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI semantic models including DAX calculations, relationships, RLS, and drill-through reporting.
• Build and manage Grafana dashboards to monitor operational metrics such as delivery SLAs, hub performance, and logistics KPIs.
• Administer Ubuntu Linux servers including Docker Compose deployments, service monitoring, and scheduling tasks with cron.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation for pipelines, dbt models, and data sources.

• dbt Certified Developer
• PostgreSQL Professional Certification (PGCP)
• Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
• Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
