Senior Bookkeeper / CPA - Automation-Driven Accounting Lead

We are a fast-growing hospitality technology company building automated financial systems for hotels worldwide. We are hiring a senior Bookkeeper or CPA-level professional to oversee a client-specific accounting function while helping drive the transition from manual processing to fully automated, technology-powered workflows. This role blends deep accounting expertise with an operational understanding of automation, quality control, and process improvement.

Requirements

Responsibilities: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of daily accounting work for a large client with significant transaction volume.

• Lead the rollout, testing, and validation of new automation workflows within our tech platform
• Monitor automated outputs, identify exceptions, and ensure corrective actions are taken quickly
• Partner with Product & Engineering to refine logic, rules, and system behaviour as automation scales
• Supervise offshore accounting processors, ensuring accuracy, speed, and adherence to controls
• Maintain SOPs and internal controls adapted to an automation-first environment
• Produce performance, accuracy, and exception reports that help guide automation improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve upstream data issues and ensure end-to-end workflow stability
  
  

Experience:

• 5-10+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (high-volume environment preferred)
• CPA, CA, ACCA or similar advanced certification strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting controls, reconciliations, and process oversight
• Experience working with automation tools, workflow systems, or software-driven accounting
• Prior experience supervising or reviewing the work of accounting teams
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; strong analytical and communication abilities
