Job Title: Senior Budget and Reporting Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Budget and Reporting Specialist to join our Budget and Reporting Department.

In this role, you will take an active part in managing budgeting processes, performing financial analyses, and overseeing reporting activities. The Senior Budget Specialist will report directly to the Budget and Reporting Manager and play a critical role in providing strategic insights to support the company's financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the annual budget preparation process by collaborating closely with relevant departments, validating assumptions, and consolidating budget data
• Perform monthly and quarterly forecast updates, adapting to actual results and evolving business needs
• Conduct comprehensive variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year) and prepare detailed reports with insightful business commentary
• Prepare and consolidate monthly management reporting packages, including P&L statements, operational KPIs, and departmental analyses to support executive decision-making
• Support the monthly closing process and ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data in line with internal policies and IFRS standards
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation, financial data, and explanations throughout year-end audit processes
• Maintain and improve budgeting and reporting tools, leveraging advanced Excel functionalities to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency
• Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business initiatives, cost structures, and investment opportunities
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by standardizing templates, automating reports, and increasing the efficiency of the budgeting cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in budgeting and financial reporting
• Preferably at least 3 years of audit experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment
