Senior Building Services Fire Protection Engineer

.As our new Fire Protection Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works. Your role will include: Regulatory Compliance - Ensure designs meet Australian fire codes, standards, and local authority requirements for safety and legal compliance. As well as experience in a similar engineering role. Specifically: Fire Systems Design Expertise - Proven experience designing and implementing fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, smoke control, and passive fire safety solutions. Risk Assessment & Compliance - Strong knowledge of Australian fire codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, with hands-on experience conducting fire risk assessments. Project Delivery - Demonstrated ability to manage fire engineering aspects in complex building projects, from concept design to construction and commissioning. Collaboration & Communication - Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate fire safety solutions seamlessly. Ability to apply performance-based fire engineering approaches, optimizing safety while maintaining design flexibility and efficiency.Aurecon's strength has always been our people.
