Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Business Analyst (13+ years of experience)
with strong expertise in the
Banking & Financial Services domain
. The candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring successful delivery of banking transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Work closely with
business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams
to gather, analyze, and document requirements.

Lead requirement workshops,
gap analysis, and impact assessments
for new banking initiatives.

Translate business needs into
detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
.

Act as a key liaison between
business units, regulatory teams, and IT delivery teams
.

Ensure solutions align with
banking compliance, regulatory, and risk frameworks
.

Support
testing teams
by validating requirements, reviewing test cases, and conducting UAT sessions.

Contribute to
process improvement and digital transformation initiatives
within banking.

Provide domain expertise in areas like
Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, AML/KYC, Treasury, and Compliance
.

Collaborate in Agile delivery, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications

13+ years of overall IT/Banking experience
, with at least
7+ years as a Business Analyst
in the
Banking & Financial Services domain
.

Strong knowledge of
Banking products, operations, and regulatory frameworks
.

Proven experience in large-scale
Banking transformation programs
(Digital, Core Banking upgrades, Payments modernization, Risk & Compliance systems).

Strong skills in
requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (
JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps
).

Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to work with multicultural teams in Abu Dhabi.

Relevant certifications (e.g.,
CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certifications
) preferred.
