Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (13+ years of experience) with strong expertise in the Banking & Financial Services domain . The candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring successful delivery of banking transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Lead requirement workshops, gap analysis, and impact assessments for new banking initiatives.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria .
• Act as a key liaison between business units, regulatory teams, and IT delivery teams .
• Ensure solutions align with banking compliance, regulatory, and risk frameworks .
• Support testing teams by validating requirements, reviewing test cases, and conducting UAT sessions.
• Contribute to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives within banking.
• Provide domain expertise in areas like Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, AML/KYC, Treasury, and Compliance .
• Collaborate in Agile delivery, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 13+ years of overall IT/Banking experience , with at least 7+ years as a Business Analyst in the Banking & Financial Services domain .
• Strong knowledge of Banking products, operations, and regulatory frameworks .
• Proven experience in large-scale Banking transformation programs (Digital, Core Banking upgrades, Payments modernization, Risk & Compliance systems).
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools ( JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps ).
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to work with multicultural teams in Abu Dhabi.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certifications ) preferred.
