About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to serve as a systems liaison to consultant with internal business lines and vendors to develop and implement technical solutions to meet business needs. Specific focus is on the Commerce Trust Private Banking lending System Administration. The System Administrator will primarily focus on the development of new loan products, testing fixes from the vendor and daily statement validations.

Essential Functions

  • Provide application subject matter expertise to all levels of internal and external users

  • Provide analysis for and perform system configurations to support business needs - formulates systems to parallel overall business unit strategies

  • Perform unit level testing on system configurations

  • Monitor system use and recommend enhancements for productivity

  • Coordinate communication on application issues (production bugs) between internal customers and external vendors

  • Provides support, consultation and recommendations to clients in resolving technical problems

  • Provide client demos and/or training of online products as requested by administration and/or management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Experience in a customer-centric, system administrator role is preferred

  • Effective ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

  • Ability to communicate in user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical end-users

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements

  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 1-3 years’ experience required
