Senior Business Analyst I

GEICO is seeking a Senior Business Analyst I where under limited direction, ENGAGES in multiple large complex business initiatives as it relates to Comparative Raters. ENSURES the business architecture governance is addressed in all organizational changes. UNDERSTANDS how work is conducted (processes, procedures, and systems) and, DETERMINES opportunities and DEVELOPS solutions.

COORDINATES with intra- and cross-departmental teams to test the roll out of additional states into our Comparative Raters for the Agency channel. IDENTIFIES new opportunities for relationships with other Comparative Raters in the market. ENGAGES with key business partners to ensure the success implementation of additional Comparative Raters. CONTRIBUTES to the overall strategy, roadmap, and vision of the Agency channel for Comparative Raters and PROVIDES senior level updates to key stakeholders. COMPLETES user validation and testing of systems and process changes to sign off on delivery readiness and confirm deliverables meet requirements. SUPPORTS the analytical or testing needs of others within the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Agency and Vendor Integration preferred
  • 3 years of experience in an analytical role leading project coordination with key business functions and department leaders
  • Proven ability to drive collaboration and partnership across multi-function project teams
  • Ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations to drive decision-making and execution
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) with the ability to understand and communicate difficult concepts
  • A highly motivated team-player

  • Must be able to handle heavy call volume in a fast paced work environment, resolve complex business problems and handle complicated customer issues
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
    • Must be able to work varying schedules to meet staffing or phone volume needs

Location: The selected candidate may work from any state and location. The nature of the position—hybrid or remote—will be determined by the candidate’s residence location.


Annual Salary

$59,450.00 - $115,825.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
