Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

About the job

  • The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner will support multiple systems, including Intact and Workday, and will be responsible for staying current on system updates, managing vendor relationships, and helping drive ongoing improvements and support across the platforms.
  • A key part of the role is acting as a liaison between the business and vendors. We are looking for someone who can effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements, and partner closely with external vendors to communicate needs and drive solutions.
  • Communication skills are extremely important for this position. Biggest strengths we are looking for are follow-through and ability to make stakeholders feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. We are looking for someone who can bring that same level of communication, responsiveness, and relationship management.
  • From an experience perspective, familiarity with Enterprise SaaS environments is important. Vendor management and relationship-building experience will also be critical. We value someone who can establish strong rapport with vendors and internal partners, hold vendors accountable when needed, and confidently navigate challenging conversations. Building strong relationships often makes collaboration and problem-solving much more effective, but it also requires experience, confidence, and the ability to provide direct feedback when necessary.
  • On the Business Analysis side, this role does require a technical skillset. The individual should be comfortable translating between business and technical teams and have a solid understanding of IT terminology and systems language. This is typically expected in strong IT Product Owner or Business Analyst backgrounds.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, product ownership, enterprise application delivery, or similar roles.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise business processes, SaaS platforms, and IT delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum principles and experience working in iterative or backlog-driven delivery environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, adapt to change, and make informed decisions with incomplete information.
