Senior Business Analyst - Project Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Senior Business Analyst - Project Manager is responsible for coordinating day-to-day IT initiatives and ensuring effective collaboration across project management, development, and operations teams. This role serves as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear, actionable solutions.
The primary focus of the position is leading discovery efforts and developing comprehensive project documentation, including business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs), process flows, and project plans. The role also supports project execution, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvement, with a strong background in project management, continuous improvement, reporting, or related areas.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Receives direction from the Chief Information Officer or his/her designee, or a position of a higher grade.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Supervises the work of relevant Information Technology staff.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role combines project leadership and business analysis expertise to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BS/BA in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of experience preferred, within an IT environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
