Leader/Specialist tasked with delivering results that make a significant contribution to a department or project delivery.
Responsible for delivering operational plans and setting day-to-day team objectives, or delivering the business policies and programs within a defined specialist area. Resolves day-to-day issues/escalation points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Typically reports to department manager or IT team lead
- Provides advisory to the project managers/members and business users
- Participate in the development of detailed designs and cost estimates for change initiatives
- Responsibility for error correction within the span of control
- Participates in the development and/or implementation of best practices and policies e.g. code standards
- Responsibility to mentor less senior specialists
- Responsible for root cause analysis work
Preferred Education/Experience:
Education at the vocational level
- 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a relevant functional discipline
