Senior Business Analyst / Solution Designer
Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-site as needed)
Reports to: SVP, Product Owner

We are looking for a Sr Business Analyst/Solution Designer to join our Product team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who has a passion for illustrating complex business processes and crafting compelling design documentation visually. This role will focus heavily on the delivery of pre-development / pre-configuration requirements and be a champion of the end solution with a strong emphasis on the end user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Designer (40%)
- Process Mapping:Use Visio to create detailed diagrams representing current and future business processes, ensuring workflows are clear and comprehensible.
- Mock-up Creation: Design mock screens and wireframes to demonstrate the user interface and user experience, ensuring alignment with business needs and established style guides.
- Validation and Testing: Assist in crafting test plans and scenarios to validate the delivery meets design specifications and business requirements.
- Supporting Documentation: Create training materials and/or user guides ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new solutions by end users.
Business Analysis Responsibilities (40%)
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct one-on-one or group working sessions to collect detailed business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of needs and desired outcomes.
- Gap Analysis: Analyze the differences between current processes and desired outcomes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating clear communication of the desired end result.
- User Stories: Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria, translating business requirements into actionable items for development teams.
- Project Management Support: Assist in organizing and managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track and within scope.
Other Responsibilities (20%)
- Special Projects: Provide support and/or ownership of misc. projects as assigned. (internal process improvement, style guide contributions, team building activities, etc.)
- Travel Expectation: While the position will be a work from home role, some travel to client/parent offices may be required, not expected to exceed 10% though will have periods of higher travel needs based on project needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong process analysis skills with demonstrated success participating in moderate to large scale implementation projects.
- Advanced experience with Visio, Excel, and other similar Microsoft Office tools, or equivalent applications.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis or technology implementation, and/or leadership roles within mortgage servicing or legal practice companies.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms or workflow orchestration solutions is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing, insurance management, and/or auto loan servicing.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, requirements gathering, and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, sales, and customer success.
- Degree in business and/or related field desired (Not required).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
