Senior Business Development Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive who can generate high-quality B2B leads and close projects using LinkedIn outreach, Upwork bidding, cold email campaigns, and strategic client communication.

This role requires someone who can manage the complete sales cycle - from finding leads to pitching, handling meetings, and converting into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Find and target B2B clients on LinkedIn, Upwork, and business directories
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Identify decision-makers (CEOs, founders, marketing managers, etc.)

Upwork & Freelance Platforms

  • Handle daily Upwork bidding
  • Write custom proposals based on project requirements
  • Maintain profile optimization and improve response rate
  • Communicate with clients professionally and close deals

LinkedIn Outreach

  • Send personalized connection requests and follow-ups
  • Run LinkedIn outreach campaigns (manual + tools if needed)
  • Build relationships and book meetings

Cold Email & CRM

  • Create and manage cold email campaigns
  • Handle lead lists, segmentation, follow-ups, and replies
  • Maintain CRM updates and track leads properly

Client Communication & Closing

  • Conduct discovery calls and understand client needs
  • Present services and pricing clearly
  • Negotiate, close, and onboard new clients
  • Coordinate with internal team for smooth project handover

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in B2B sales / business development
  • Excellent communication skills (English writing + speaking)
  • Strong command over:

· LinkedIn lead generation

· Upwork bidding & proposal writing

· Cold emailing and follow-ups

· CRM / lead tracking

  • Ability to work independently and hit monthly targets
  • Experience selling services like:

· Web development

· SEO / digital marketing

· Branding / design

· AI automation / SaaS (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT services / digital agency sales
  • Familiar with tools like:

· HubSpot / Zoho / Pipedrive

· Apollo / Instantly / Lemlist

· LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Can bring consistent leads and projects monthly

Performance Expectations

  • Daily outreach on LinkedIn + Upwork
  • Consistent lead generation pipeline
  • Weekly meetings booked with qualified clients
  • Monthly client/project conversions
