Job Responsibilities

This role focuses on driving strategic business growth by developing new partnerships, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships with key accounts in the dietary supplement, food, and beverage ingredient industries.

  • Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure new growth opportunities within the nutraceutical, food, and beverage ingredient sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term strategic partnerships and customer retention.
  • Oversee and guide junior business development and sales team members to ensure consistency in customer communication and account strategy.
  • Develop and execute territory or product-line growth plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and manufacturing partners to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA/QC, Procurement, and Operations to ensure seamless order execution and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business segments.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to promote Key-In Nutrition’s brand and capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of pipeline activities, forecasts, and key account updates.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience in the nutraceutical, food, or ingredient industry — experience in ingredient distribution strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual revenue goals and managing major B2B accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience handling mid-to-large corporate clients or contract manufacturers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with both U.S. and overseas teams.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account reporting.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify new markets, develop go-to-market plans, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
