Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close high-value deals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide business strategy.
- Oversee and guide junior BD staff in lead generation, client management, and proposal development.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to represent the company.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to support business strategies and ensure client requirements are met.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare business development reports, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and securing key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership ability and experience managing or mentoring teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make high-level decisions.
