Job Summary
The Business Development Senior Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and executing partnership and market expansion initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams

Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company objectives

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights
Partnerships & Deal Execution

Build and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

Lead commercial negotiations and close mid-to-large-scale deals

Structure proposals, pricing models, and commercial agreements
Sales Pipeline & Performance

Own and manage a robust pipeline of business development opportunities

Forecast revenue and track performance against targets

Prepare reports and insights for senior leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal teams

Support go-to-market initiatives and product launches

Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to account management or delivery teams
Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor junior business development managers and executives

Contribute to best practices, tools, and process improvements

Act as a role model for high performance and commercial excellence
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

6–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships

Proven ability to close complex deals and manage strategic accounts
