Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute long-term business development strategies, analyze market trends, and identify growth areas.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead negotiations for complex, high-value deals, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Market & Opportunity Analysis: Conduct high-level research to find new markets, assess competitor activities, and understand customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior BDMs and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, technical).
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates, sales forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
- Project Oversight: Oversee implementation of new initiatives, from planning to execution and review.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales, and achieving revenue targets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, leadership, market analysis, CRM (Salesforce), and contract management.
