About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth through client acquisition, remote project opportunities, staff augmentation leads, and long-term technology partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT services sales, international client acquisition, lead generation, and consultative selling. This role requires someone who can identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, understand client needs, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing business development strategies to generate new clients, remote project clients, and staff augmentation opportunities.
  • Identifying, approaching, and converting potential clients across international markets including the USA, UAE, Europe, Middle East, and other remote-first regions.
  • Generating leads through LinkedIn, Upwork, Clutch, email outreach, referrals, job boards, remote hiring platforms, business communities, and outbound campaigns.
  • Finding and pursuing remote job clients looking to hire software engineers or dedicated development teams.
  • Converting remote hiring requirements and technical job postings into client opportunities for Code Genesis.
  • Promoting Code Genesis services including custom software development, AI/ML, mobile apps, cloud solutions, DevOps, UI/UX, SaaS development, QA, and digital transformation.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, discovery calls, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with founders, CEOs, CTOs, product heads, HR managers, recruitment leads, and technology decision-makers.
  • Understanding client business challenges and working with internal teams to propose tailored technology solutions.
  • Preparing proposals, pitch decks, staff augmentation profiles, pricing estimates, statements of work, and client presentations.
  • Negotiating contracts, engagement models, retainers, hourly rates, fixed-scope projects, and dedicated resource arrangements.
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline, CRM updates, lead follow-ups, revenue forecasts, and deal progress reports.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, remote hiring demand, and technology service opportunities to identify new business channels.
  • Collaborating with technical, design, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover after deal closure.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, IT services sales, outsourcing sales, staff augmentation, or remote client acquisition.
  • Proven experience generating and closing international B2B clients and remote project opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of software development services, dedicated resource models, hourly engagements, fixed-scope projects, and retainer-based contracts.
  • Hands-on experience with lead generation through LinkedIn, Upwork, Clutch, email outreach, job boards, remote work platforms, referrals, and outbound sales campaigns.
  • Ability to identify companies hiring remote technical talent and convert those opportunities into business leads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client pain points and present relevant solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams and explain technology solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Target-driven mindset with ownership of pipeline development, lead conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Experience using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales automation tools, and proposal platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling software development services to clients in the USA, UAE, Europe, or Middle East.
  • Prior experience working with a software house, IT services company, SaaS company, or technology consulting firm.
  • Existing network of founders, business owners, CTOs, product managers, HR managers, or recruitment decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with AI solutions, cloud deployments, SaaS development, DevOps, and digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in staff augmentation, dedicated team sales, and remote resource placement.
