SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER

Job Purpose

Lead and guide BI developers to create and maintain BI solutions using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
Manage data cleaning, transforming, and enriching to keep data accurate and reliable.
Work with business teams, analysts, and IT to understand needs and build useful reports and dashboards.
Promote best practices in data visualization, data modeling, and use of BI tools within the team.

RESPONSABILITIES: Principal Accountabilities
• Lead the translation of complex business needs into clear technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Apply DAX to create advanced measures, calculated columns, and optimize Power BI performance.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain large-scale BI solutions that support key business decisions.
• Design, build, and manage data warehouse systems for reporting and analytics.
• Use Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse to create scalable data solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures using PostgreSQL.
• Use Python for backend data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
• Lead the integration of Power BI reports into web applications to improve accessibility and user experience.
• Monitor BI solution performance and proactively improve it.
• Document data processes, reports, dashboards, and system architecture thoroughly.
• Work with data engineers and analysts to maintain data standards, definitions, and governance.
• Develop and lead training programs to help end-users effectively use BI tools.

QUALIFICATIONS: Educational Qualifications & Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field
• Certifications in Power BI (or) other BI tools are mandatory.

Relevant Experience

Minimum 06 years’ experience in a similar role and industry
