Senior Business Systems Analyst

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will formulate, define, and execute system scope and objectives pertaining to our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, which is the main metering command center for our meter-to-cash cycle. You will serve as a key functional authority for our IFS Clevest mobile workforce management and field scheduling platform, to include supporting operational workflows, dispatching, and field execution. Additionally, you will be our subject matter expert regarding system, data, and operational needs pertaining to AMI, Clevest, metering, field operations, and meter-to-cash.

What Else Will You be Doing?

  • Receiving and evaluating requests to include assessing request details, clarifying requirements and levels of effort, creating written assessments, and ensuring proper documentation in intake systems
  • Managing the capacity, limitations, requirements, and data improvements of our AMI and Clevest systems, including integrations with other systems
  • Facilitating stakeholder readiness for our AMI and Clevest system's future innovation and system enhancements
  • Supporting the full lifecycle of the IFS Clevest mobile workforce management application, including configuration, scheduling logic, dispatch workflows, and field mobility functions
  • Receiving and evaluating requests related to Clevest, including field scheduling enhancements, operational workflow changes, and mobile application updates
  • Conducting outreach to stakeholders and gathering and documenting business cases and high-level requirements
  • Gathering, vetting, and prioritizing requirements from users and mapping to system/application specifications
  • Analyzing field, billing, dispatch, and other business processes; recommending changes in processes and policies; and implementing changes
  • Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
  • Modifying procedures to solve complex business problems while considering system and application limitations to meet requirements

Who You Are

  • Experience working in an information technology or operations technology capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is valued
  • Experience supporting mobile workforce management, dispatch, or field scheduling systems (IFS Clevest is highly valued)
  • Familiarity with integrations and data streams between Clevest, AMI, CIS, OMS, GIS, or other operational systems is valued
  • Understanding of auto-scheduling, route optimization, field job execution, and operational workflows
  • Ability to support field technicians, dispatchers, and operational supervisors with system troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and data quality needs
  • Ability to translate field operational needs into system requirements and configuration changes

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or small amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions within an office working environment.
