We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in Salesforce administration, solid analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, strong communication skills, and the capability to translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Administration & Solution Support
- Serve as the Salesforce subject-matter expert (SME) for system configuration, data management, user administration, security, and best practices.
- Perform hands-on configuration, including workflows, validation rules, page layouts, profiles/roles, permission sets, and custom objects.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend scalable, long-term solutions.
- Partner with IT and development teams to support integrations, system enhancements, and platform upgrades.
CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Support
- Support basic setup, configuration, and testing of Salesforce CPQ features (pricing, quoting, approval workflows).
- Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to understand quoting requirements and optimize CPQ workflows.
Business Requirements & Stakeholder Management
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, workshops, and cross-functional meetings.
- Document business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications with clarity and detail.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers, architects, and QA teams.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout project delivery.
Project Execution & Quality Assurance
- Support project planning, prioritization, and sprint activities in collaboration with Product Owners or Project Managers.
- Conduct UAT planning, test case creation, and execution to ensure solution quality.
- Drive continuous improvements by identifying process gaps, system inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration (Admin certification preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or strong intent to learn quickly.
- Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
