Job Description Summary

The Senior Buyer sources, procures AND expedites a wide variety of commodities including medical/non medical supplies, pharmaceuticals AND equipment for JHAH functions many of which are medium to high complexity procurement requirements .- to ensure efficient procurement contracts development are in place. Maintaining strategic resourcing activities to back.-up the operation with ex alternatives

Provide accurate and timely advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurementrelated matters
Implement best practices in procurement to enhance compliance reduce risks and improve operational efficiency
Continuously improve procurement processes to support the organizations growth and competitiveness

Operational Roles & Responsibilities %

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and process purchase orders
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delivery issues
Evaluate supplier performance and recommend changes if necessary
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with organizational policies
Assist in resolving any issues related to procurement or supplier performance

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management/ or Equivalent

Professional Certifications Required

Years of Experience

Minimum 6 Years of relevant experience
