Civil Engineer (Office-Based)

Job Summary
Chartered Contracting is looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in an office-based role. The candidate will be responsible for technical coordination, project planning, documentation, and supporting ongoing construction projects from the head office.
Key Responsibilities
Review and coordinate architectural and structural drawings
Prepare and review BOQs and cost estimates
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Prepare technical submittals and method statements
Monitor project schedules and progress reports
Support tendering and pricing processes
Ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
Assist in contract administration and variation orders
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 15 years of experience in a contracting company
Strong technical knowledge (drawings, BOQ, contracts, coordination)
Experience in office/technical department preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
Strong organizational and leadership skills
UAE experience required
