Senior Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Civil Site Engineer to lead the execution of civil works for a high-priority control center facility under Smart Grid Projects. The role includes supervising structural and architectural works, coordinating with MEP and systems teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting project milestones through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all civil construction activities including excavation, foundations, structural works, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing.
• Review and implement civil and architectural drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and site conditions.
• Coordinate with MEP, electrical, and systems teams to ensure proper sequencing and integration of civil works.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely execution of civil activities in line with project milestones.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and that all civil works meet regulatory and project standards.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including daily progress reports, red-line drawings, inspection logs, and material usage.
• Participate in client inspections, punch list resolution, and final handover documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of civil materials and equipment.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to the Overall MEP Site Manager and escalate critical matters as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in civil site execution, preferably in control center, or Smart Grid Projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural and architectural construction practices.
• Familiarity with coordination of civil works with MEP and systems installations.
• Fluent in English and Urdu; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in utility or smart grid infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site reporting tools.
• Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
