Senior Civil Superintendent (Yerington, NV)

• Experience of 2 years as civil superintendent

• Prefer 8 years of field construction experience at a supervisory level

• Prefer 3 years in utility-scale solar projects.

• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, practices, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA

• Strong knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.

• Working knowledge of all trades, with the ability to read and understand specifications for all crafts.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, assuming responsibility for overall management and success.

• Experience conducting constructability reviews and coordinating with estimating teams to develop accurate project cost estimates.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel and work onsite, with scheduled time off every 3 weeks.

• Ability to perform accurate yardage and tonnage takeoffs

• Strong understanding of civil construction equipment, including proper utilization and selecting the right tool for the job
