We are now seeking an experienced
Senior Class Action Attorney to lead complex litigation matters from inception through resolution — including certification, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial or settlement.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing class actions
in both California state and federal courts, including class certification, motion practice, and appellate work. You must be comfortable supervising a team of attorneys, drafting and arguing complex motions, and handling high-stakes litigation with minimal oversight.
This is a leadership position offering the opportunity to shape the firm’s class action division and directly influence high-value, precedent-setting cases.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage class action cases across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, trial preparation, and appeals.
- Develop and execute legal strategies for certification and settlement.
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support teams.
- Draft and argue motions, oppositions, and appellate briefs.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on case selection, resource allocation, and long-term litigation strategy.
- Manage relationships with co-counsel and opposing counsel with professionalism and authority.
Qualifications- J.D. and active California Bar membership (in good standing).
- 10+ years of litigation experience, with significant experience in class actions or complex multi-party litigation.
- Proven record of handling cases in both state and federal courts, including class certification and appellate matters.
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Leadership experience managing attorneys and litigation teams.
- Deep understanding of procedural rules, discovery strategy, and case valuation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
