Senior Clerk Typist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Clerk Typist to join our dynamic administrative team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing efficient clerical support, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth office operations. Your expertise in typing, data entry, and office management will help maintain a productive environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and fast typing of documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with proper phone etiquette.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
  • Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
  • Enter data into various software platforms like QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes and update records diligently.
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution or filing.

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, and document proofreading.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic computer literacy.
  • Experience handling multi-line phone systems and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.
  • Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management, bookkeeping (QuickBooks), and general administrative support.
