Senior Clinical Consultant - Workforce and Workload Management

As a Senior Clinical Consultant, you will collaborate with customer stakeholders and leaders to build relationships and positively impact clinical performance, satisfaction, and outcomes during projects involving the Oracle Health Workforce and Workload Solution Suite, formerly known as Clairvia, in Acute and Outpatient care. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will guide customers and internal teams, help design effective clinical workflows, and analyze current and future states to identify gaps and recommend strategies for change adoption to achieve workforce and workload goals. You will own the customer’s value measurement plan, support the engagement management team in meeting deliverables and timelines, lead customer meetings to align clinical goals with technology, and foster relationships to drive business outcomes. This role focuses on Oracle Health Workforce and Workload solutions like scheduling, caregiver assignments, acuity-based outcomes, and reporting to enhance healthcare operations. Key solutions include Staff Manager, Physician Scheduler, Assignment Manager, ShiftAlert, Demand Manager, Outcomes-Driven Acuity, and Patient Progress Manager.


As a Senior Clinical Consultant, you will partner with customer stakeholders and leaders to form relationships and holistically impact client clinical performance, satisfaction, and clinical and business outcomes during project engagements for the Oracle Health Workforce and Workload Solution Suite within the Acute and Outpatient venues of care. Using your clinical knowledge and experience, you will provide clinical guidance and expertise to customers and internal project teams; consult and collaborate with clients to design optimal clinical workflows; and facilitate the analysis of current state, future state, and gap analysis with an emphasis on understanding the change impact and recommending strategies to prepare for adoption of the change to reach desired workforce and workload management outcomes. This position will manage and own the customer’s value measurement plan for the Oracle Health Workforce and Workload implementation; support the engagement management team in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met to deliver value to the customer as committed; lead customer meetings and facilitate discussions around clinical alignment and adoption of technology; and cultivate customer relationships to achieve business outcomes. We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Consultant to specialize in Oracle Health Workforce and Workload including solutions focused on scheduling, care giver assignments, outcomes-driven acuity, and reporting capabilities to improve operational efficiency across healthcare organizations. Specific solutions include Staff Manager, Physician Scheduler, Assignment Manager, ShiftAlert, Demand Manager, Outcomes-Driven Acuity, and Patient Progress Manager.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care, or related field
    • At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology work experience
  • At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical licensure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with staff scheduling, staffing assignments, staffing workflows, hospital admission/registration process, and/or other related hospital operations
  • Previous experience with Oracle Health Workload and Workforce Management, the former Clairvia
  • Previous client consulting experience
  • Oracle Health Millennium application experience
  • Experience managing large, complex full cycle solution implementations
  • Experience implementing client/server applications
  • Possess decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and Process orientated
  • Strong analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines
