Senior Cloud Engineer

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Location: DHA 6, Lahore

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS to design and implement scalable, serverless, event-driven architectures for a Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building media processing workflows, optimizing cloud performance, and managing infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and implement serverless, event-driven architectures for a DAM platform

· Build and maintain AWS Lambda functions using TypeScript and Node.js

· Develop media ingestion and processing workflows using Amazon S3 event triggers and Amazon SQS

· Implement and manage containerized services using Amazon ECS

· Provision, version, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform

· Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting with Amazon CloudWatch

· Optimize Lambda performance (cold starts, memory tuning, concurrency management)

· Improve CDN delivery performance, caching strategies, and asset response times (e.g., via AWS CloudFront)

· Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and media teams to deliver scalable DAM features

Required Qualifications & Skills

· 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer on AWS

· Strong understanding of serverless and event-driven architecture

· Proven implementation experience with:

• AWS CloudFront
• AWS Lambda (TypeScript + Node.js)
• Amazon S3
• Amazon SQS
• Amazon ECS
• Amazon CloudWatch

· Strong proficiency in TypeScript (advanced typing, async patterns, clean architecture principles)

· Solid experience with Node.js runtime on AWS Lambda

· Hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, environments, state management)

· Understanding of multimedia concepts:

• Image and video formats
• Asset optimization and compression
• Media processing pipelines

· Experience working with CDNs and performance optimization (latency, TTFB, cache hit ratio)

Preferred

· Knowledge of image/video transformation libraries or media pipelines

· Familiarity with Amazon API Gateway, AWS Step Functions, or Amazon EventBridge

· Experience with large-scale DAM, CMS, or media delivery platforms

· AWS Certifications (Associate or Professional level)
