Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) with extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-scale cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a technical leader with a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, governance, FinOps initiatives, and operational excellence while supporting mission-critical workloads across multi-region environments.

Required Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

Mandatory: At least one active Google Cloud Professional-level certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available GCP environments.
• Define cloud governance frameworks, organizational structures, IAM models, and security controls.
• Lead deployment and operations of containerized, serverless, and compute-based workloads.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives through FinOps best practices, including budgeting, forecasting, CUDs, SUDs, and resource governance.
• Develop and maintain reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies across cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud consumption and provide actionable cost optimization recommendations and reporting.
• Enforce security, compliance, tagging, and operational standards across all cloud resources.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business objectives.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end GCP implementations in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, operations, automation, and governance.
• Demonstrated success in optimizing cloud spend while improving performance and reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
