Fullstack Software Engineer

Job Description

Flairstech Corporation is seeking an Intermediate/Senior .NET/C# software engineer to join our ever-growing team. This candidate will join one of Flairstech Corporation’s partners in the Education vertical, to modernize and enhance our web portals that empower schools to create safer, more engaging, and supportive environments for student success.

Our Educational line of products provides solutions to help schools monitor and administer Behaviour Management, ID Management, Attendance Management and Visitor Management to K-12 Students, Facilities and Classrooms.

What You’ll Do

• Modernize User Experiences: Redesign and elevate our web portals to deliver a modern, intuitive, and engaging user experience.
• Develop & Enhance Applications: Update existing applications and build new functionalities using web technologies.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for user experience optimization and lead R&D initiatives to integrate new functionalities into our platforms.
• Maintain High Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evolve our web portals by adding new features and refreshing user interfaces for students and staff.
• Migrate desktop applications to web portals using latest frontend technologies.
• Write, review, and maintain high-quality code with comprehensive documentation.
• Ensure code quality and system reliability through rigorous testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Document system designs, integrations, and technical processes.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance user experience and system performance.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• C#/.NET Expertise: Extensive experience developing applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Front-End Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, Angular/React, and Web API is ideal. While you won't be expected to master these technologiesfrom day one, a strong willingness to learn and expand your skillset is essential.
• Database Management: Strong skills in SQL queries and database design; experience with Oracle Database PL/SQL is a plus.
• API Development: Experience in developing and consuming APIs using SOAP and REST endpoints
• AI Tools: Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, or similar) is a plus.

Desired Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on C#/.NET.
• 5+ years of front-end experience in multiple web technologies.

Other Requirements

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work aligned with the Eastern Time (EST).
• Experience in EdTech software, customer solutions, or SIS integrations (nice to have).
