Job Description: Our Commercial Lines Agency is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for servicing a book of new and existing business that consists of mostly middle market commercial accounts and a few small market commercial accounts. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications and be a self-starter with good organizational and multi-tasking skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and possess the ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team, interacting professionally with peers, producers, clients, company underwriters, and agents. You should be familiar with all aspects of commercial insurance services, from the new business and renewal application process to policy analysis. The qualified candidate will be managing a book of business of approx. $1.5MM in revenue (not premium) and working with up to three separate producers. This position requires the ability to work autonomously in performing these duties and requires extensive knowledge and understanding of the insurance field. Word processing skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel are a must. We utilize the AMS360 system, and while knowledge of this system is a plus, we will offer training to the right candidate possessing all other required skills. Required Competencies:

  • Currently holds a P&C license California Department of Insurance
  • Experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager/ Account Executive
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task projects and prioritize
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Team Player
  • AMS360 experience a plus
  • Knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages and forms

Salary: Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
